Litigation work seems to be feast or famine, and right now for me it’s FEAST. My posts have been a little lean this week, because I’ve been crushed at work. This is no complaint– the end of the fiscal year is coming up, and it’s comforting to have plenty of work and be on target (or above) for my hours.
I have fit in some time to watch a few movies lately– Anonymous, In Time, and Columbiana, and a few others, but none of them have been interesting enough for me to write up a post. I finished up A Confederacy of Dunces (John Kennedy Toole, 1980) a few weeks ago, and have been meaning to do a write up about that, but haven’t gotten around to it. For now, I recommend you check out Elle Ewok’s stellar review of the book at the Semi-Literate Yinzer Book Club.
For your listening pleasure, I can’t get enough of Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know. It’s one of those fuming, seething angry songs that doesn’t entirely sound enraged. Love it.
